For example, if an object exists in the database in the Physical layer of the repository but not in the back-end database, the following text is displayed:. Each XML document describes a metadata object, such as a column, including its properties and relationships with other metadata objects.
Use the Administration Tool to generate a metadata dictionary for your repository. Because the dictionary isn't updated as repository changes are made, you must generate the dictionary periodically to update the content.
