You will be able to play there in all the available modes with their friends, without glitches, freezes and any problems. For Steam version of the game this patch cannot be installed through the installer, so everything should be set manually.

Thankyou, I was able to play a game I bought a year or two ago for the first time now. I don't know why this isn't part of Steam, or why it isn't patched. This is the only Need for Speed game they have that I like here. Hot Pursuit stinks badly.
